Girl, 10, still critical after her sister, 16, killed on way to Taylor Swift concert

Two young Queensland sisters involved in a horror crash on their way to a Taylor Swift concert in Victoria have been identified as Mieka and Freya Pokarier.
Mieka, 16, died at the scene near Dubbo, in central west New South Wales on Thursday night, while 10-year-old Freya is still fighting for life in hospital.
The girls and their mother were on their way to Melbourne from the Gold Coast for the concert when their SUV collided head-on with a semi-trailer.

Freya was flown to Westmead Hospital in Sydney in a critical condition.
It is understood she remains in an induced coma with serious brain injuries.
Their mother was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to Dubbo Hospital with minor injuries.
