Woman charged after daylight brawl in Dubbo
A woman has been charged following a violent brawl involving up to 20 people in Dubbo, in regional New South Wales, yesterday.
About 7pm, police were called to Alcheringa Street after reports of a large brawl involving a group of people armed with cricket bats, golf clubs and rocks.
A video taken shows the group chasing a green Honda CRV wagon, smashing the windows and brawling with the driver.
Following investigations into the incident, police arrested a 48-year-old woman about 9.50pm yesterday.
The woman was taken to Dubbo Police Station where she was charged with driving in a manner dangerous and affray.
Police will allege in court the woman drove her car towards a group of people on Alcheringa Street, before getting out and becoming involved in a physical fight with another woman.
She was granted conditional bail to appear before the court in May.
