Two men including teen charged with attempted murder after Brisbane shootings

Two men including a teenager have been charged with attempted murder after three people were injured in shootings in Brisbane overnight.
Queensland Police found three people with non-life-threatening injuries in Brisbane’s CBD after they were called to reports of shots fired about 10.40pm.
Police said the shootings appear to have been “a targeted attack”, with the suspects fleeing to the city’s south west.

“The alleged offenders fled the scene and travelled to Darra where they set fire to the vehicle they were travelling in just after midnight,” police said in a statement.
The police dog squad, helicopter unit and specialist police then helped arrest a 19-year-old Redbank Plains man and a 20-year-old Goodna man in Darra.
They also recovered a gun.
The two men have since been hit with more than 30 charges, including four counts of attempted murder and three counts of acts intended to maim/disfigure/disable.
Both men have had bail refused and are due to front Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Police said they were still searching for one suspect.
“Anyone with information about his whereabouts should immediately contact police,” police said.
Witnesses to the shootings or anyone with relevant vision are also urged to contact police.
There were two other shootings in Queensland overnight.
A woman was shot dead at a Morayfield unit, while police shot a man dead after a stand-off in Townsville.
