Totally destroyed Lambo worth six-figures ‘melted’ to Sydney road

A luxury car worth more than three times the average Australian’s wage has been reduced to an ashen clump on a Sydney road after a “suspicious fire”.
The bright blue 2022 Lamborghini Huracan was found ablaze after residents inside an Olympic Park apartment block, in Sydney’s west, were awoken by a large bang about 1am today.
“This car is totally destroyed, basically melting into the road,” Superintendent Adam Dewberry said.

The luxury car – which can retail between $357,280 and $410,630 if driven straight off the showroom floor – was hired by a man for a wedding, 9News understands.
The average Australian annual wage is just over $90,000.

Police are investigating and believe the fire is suspicious.
A BMW i8 parked in front of the Lamborghini was also damaged.
No one was injured.
