RSL in outback NSW town of Bourke destroyed by fire

Two of the most historic buildings in the NSW outback town of Bourke have gone up in flames this afternoon.
The town’s RSL, known as Diggers on the Darling, as well as the Old Oxley Hall, caught fire this afternoon.
The middle of the hall has already collapsed inwards, according to NSW Fire and Rescue.
The RSL had housed much of the area’s military memorabilia.
Crews from the Rural Fire Service and NSW Fire and Rescue were on hand in an effort to extinguish the fires in neighbouring buildings.
Bourke, located in NSW’s northwest, has a population of about 1800.
