Police pulled over a Toyota Prado on Lawrence Hargrave Road in Warwick Farm after identifying the car allegedly had cloned number plates about 9pm on Wednesday as part of Task Force Magnus.
“When the SUV and the three occupants were searched, police located and seized two firearms, a jerry-can filled with fuel, $8700 cash and methylamphetamine,” police said in a statement.
“The driver of the car – a 25-year-old man – and his two passengers, a 24-year-old man and 23-year-old woman – were arrested at the scene.” The driver was charged with eight offences including possessing a loaded firearm in a public place.
