Former Lone Wolf bikie Yusuf Nazlioglu fighting for life after Sydney gangland shooting
A man has shot in a suspected gangland attack in Sydney’s Inner West.
It’s understood the victim is Yusuf Nazlioglu, a former Lone Wolf bikie.
Confronting footage shows Nazlioglu badly injured as he is rushed away on a stretcher, being heavily monitored by paramedics as he’s loaded into an ambulance.
Police said they were called to Walker Street in Rhodes to reports of a man — believed to be aged in his late 30s — with gunshot wounds about 6.30pm on Monday.
Police said they believed the incident was “targeted”.
It is believed to have taken place near the Rhodes Central shopping centre.
Nazlioglu was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Police have set up a crime scene in the area.
A vehicle was found burnt out nearby a short time later.
Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact them.
