A sudden deluge of rain has caused flooding in parts of Sydney.
The front moved in quickly on Sunday afternoon, swallowing the city and northern suburbs.

“I don’t understand how one storm can cause all this wet,” Belinda Gazzonli said.

“Everything is flooded. What am I going to do now?” Jay Valca said.
Residents won’t be returning for at least tonight as urgent repairs are carried out on the roof.
Roads were also swamped across the city.
At Narrabeen, on the northern beaches stormwater drains didn’t cope on Pittwater Road.
The wet weather came after an unusually warm Saturday in the city.
It was 23 on Saturday, around six degrees more than average.
There’s also chance of a shower on Monday, but the rest of the week will remain warm with a high of 21 on Tuesday.
