Seniors to get fuel discount for United Petroleum from NSW government
Seniors will be able to get a discount on their fuel from service stations as part of a cost of living initiative by the NSW government.
The partnership with United Petrolum will give residents over 65-years-old 4 cents off every litre with a NSW Seniors or Seniors Savers card.
Senior Warren Smith said the four cent discount would make a huge difference to all seniors.
NSW seniors minister Jodie Harrison said the government wanted to offer as many discounts as possible as the rising cost of living was a problem.
“If there are any other businesses that want to partner with the NSW government to provide discounts for seniors I’m all ears,” Harrison said.
