‘I’ll stick to my skinny jeans’ Shoppers outraged over bizarre new style
A pair of blue jeans is causing widespread outrage online.
Many women were stunned when an advertisement for the unusal pair of pants appeared on social media this week.
The $30.95 jeans from fast fashion brand SHEIN, which distributes to Australia, the US, France, Russia, Spain and Italy, look normal from the back.
But it’s the front of the jeans which has sparked dismay.
The jeans are crotch-less, and feature just a small bit of material around the waist, meaning the customer’s underwear is on full display.
“What in the world?” one woman asked.
“If this is what the young people are doing … then middle age is fine by me after all,” another woman said.
“I can say with full confidence that I will never ever wear pants like this,” stated another.
“If skinny jeans are out and a***less chaps are in I think I will keep my current wardrobe,” another wrote.
SHEIN isn’t the first fashion-brand to come under fire for its bizarre garment choice.
Back in 2016, ASOS was blasted for selling a $35 “Unwrap Me” Body Bow for Valentine’s Day.
The lingerie item, which covered the crotch and buttocks, and tied in a bow over the chest.
