Brittany Higgins will return to giving evidence on Friday
Brittany Higgins will return to court for a continued cross-examination on Friday after being “unavailable” to take the stand this week.
The trial for former political staffer Bruce Lehrmann is continuing, with further witnesses being called to testify.
Lehrmann has pleaded not guilty to a single charge of sexual intercourse without consent and denies any sexual activity with Higgins.
Higgins alleges Lehrmann sexually assaulted her inside the office of then-defence industry minister Linda Reynolds after a night spent drinking together with colleagues.
The court has prevented publication of any evidence from other witnesses until after Higgins has completed her evidence.
