At least 10 COVID-19 cases linked to popular Sydney pub
A popular Sydney pub is linked to at least 10 confirmed COVID-19 cases, just weeks after NSW exited lockdown.
NSW Health has released an exposure site alert for Tea Gardens Hotel in Bondi.
Anyone who attended the pub from 7.30pm until closing on October 23 is now considered a casual contact.
Patrons must immediately get tested and self-isolate until a negative result is received.
Anyone who attended earlier in the day should monitor for symptoms, NSW Health said.
NSW Health has contacted people who attended the pub that evening when a COVID-positive person was there.
NSW Health said the confirmed cases either attended the venue while infectious or acquired the virus while there.
The Tea Gardens Hotel has been referred to the Office of Liquor and Gaming to review the venue’s compliance with COVID-safe measures.
