Man charged over fatal crash in Sydney’s north
A man has been charged over a fatal crash between a truck and a ute in Sydney’s Hills District yesterday.
A truck and a car collided on Pennant Hills Road, near the M2 intersection at West Pennant Hills, about 3.20pm yesterday.
The 22-year-old passenger in the ute died at the scene.
The driver of the ute and the truck driver were taken to the hospital for mandatory testing.
The 39-year-old truck driver has been released, NSW Police said.
The 22-year-old driver of the ute was taken to Ryde Police Station where he was charged with dangerous driving.
The man has been granted bail and will appear before the court in December.
