Sydney Harbour Bridge adorned with Christmas decorations – or so it seems
Sydney’s Harbour Bridge has received a Christmas Day makeover, with dazzling lights and white cloth draped over the national icon.
However, sadly, the impressive festive look isn’t real.
It is actually a digital transformation created by artificial intelligence, or AI.
The imaged was created by AI artist If Only, who has created similar transformations for global landmarks like Egypt’s Great Pyramids and San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.
“What if we woke on Christmas morning to discover Santa had transformed the Sydney Harbour Bridge into a festive wonderland?,” the official Sydney Instagram account posted.
“With a touch of Christmas magic and a whole lotta AI wizardry, the Sydney Harbour Bridge as we’ve never seen it before, adorned with a pixel-perfect look to celebrate Christmas day!”
Social media users were star struck by the digital display, which left some questioning whether it was real.
“This is (and would be) amazing,” one user wrote.
“It looks phenomenal! Stunning,” another said.
“One of those should be done in reality,” another commenter added.
