South Sydney halfback Adam Reynolds chasing four-year deal to join Brisbane Broncos

South Sydney veteran Adam Reynolds could sign with the Broncos if the club is willing to give the veteran a long-term deal of four years.

The Broncos have been closely monitoring Reynolds’ situation with the Rabbitohs, who currently won’t entertain a long-term contract to keep the 30-year-old at his preferred spot in Redfern.

For the Broncos, who are in need of a playmaker after allowing young gun Tom Dearden to join the Cowboys, to bring Reynolds to Red Hill, a four-year deal worth $2.8 million will need to be put on the table according to the Courier Mail.

It’s understood Broncos coach Kevin Walters and chief executive Dave Donaghy met with Reynolds last weekend surrounding a potential move up north.

But as it stands at the moment, Reynolds’ future remains uncertain despite strong interest from not just the Broncos, but the Cronulla Sharks.

It was revealed last week Craig Fitzgibbon, who will coach Cronulla in 2022, recently met with the 2014 premiership winner where it’s understood a three-year deal worth $2.4 million was proposed.

The $800,000-a-season deal would see the goalkicking No.7 through until his 34th birthday and keep him in Sydney, a key point for the family man who was born and bred in the Redfern area.
