New South Wales has recorded 236 new local COVID-19 cases and three deaths, the day after an alert was issued over a popular Sydney pub
NSW Health released an exposure site alert for Tea Gardens Hotel in Bondi Junction, with anyone who attended the pub from 7.30pm until closing last Saturday night (October 23) now considered a casual contact.
The venue has been linked to at least 10 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Anybody who was there must immediately get tested and self-isolate until a negative result is received.

Both had had their first dose of a vaccine and had “underlying health conditions”, officials, said.

There were 89,875 COVID-19 tests reported to 8pm last night.
The state has now fully vaccinated 87 per cent of eligible residents, while 93.5 have received a single dose.
Earlier in the week, Health released an exposure site alert for City Gym at Darlinghurst, with 15 cases linked to the facility.

Only fully vaccinated people were able to go to the gym under the current COVID-19 restrictions with authorities confirming cases either trained at the gym while infectious or caught the virus in the gym itself.
